Understand automatic check timing

FormReceipt runs checks on a schedule so you can spot breakages quickly without manual testing.

Where schedule settings live

  • Account defaults: used for newly saved forms.
  • Per-form schedule: available in each form's settings.

Plan-based schedule controls

  • Free: uses default timing only.
  • Paid: can set timezone, preferred time, and active weekdays.

All plans can pause and resume checks.

How to update timing

  1. Open your account settings to set the default schedule for future forms.
  2. Open a specific form to override timing for that form (paid plans).
  3. Save changes and confirm the updated next-run value in your forms list.

Best practices

  • Keep your preferred time during normal business hours for faster triage.
  • Recheck schedule settings after plan changes.
  • Use run history to confirm checks are firing at the cadence you expect.

FAQ

Can I choose my own timezone and weekdays for every form?
Paid plans can set timezone, preferred time, and weekdays. Free plans use the default timing only.
Why does the run time sometimes shift by a little?
Scheduled times are approximate because queue load and site response can affect the exact execution minute.
